Responsible Drinking
We make spirits to be enjoyed in moderation, by adults, in the right circumstances. That commitment applies to what we produce and how we talk about it.
Age restriction
Alcohol is not sold, supplied or delivered to persons under 18 in South Africa. A person 18 or older must accept delivery, and identification may be required. This applies equally to personalised event bottlings.
Moderation
Spirits are best enjoyed slowly and in moderation, with food and water alongside. Know your limit, pace yourself and stop when you have had enough.
When not to drink
Do not drink and drive, or operate machinery after drinking. Alcohol should be avoided during pregnancy or while breastfeeding, when taking medication that interacts with it, and where a health condition makes it unsafe.
Responsible marketing
We do not market our brands to persons under 18, and we do not associate our products with excessive consumption, driving, or claims of health, social or sexual success. We ask clients producing brands with us to hold the same standard.
Getting help
If drinking is affecting your health, work or relationships, support is available. In South Africa, speak to your doctor or clinic, or contact the South African Depression and Anxiety Group (SADAG) or Alcoholics Anonymous South Africa for confidential help.
Our role as a manufacturer
As a licensed producer we comply with South African liquor legislation on manufacture, labelling and supply, and we build statutory information — including the age restriction — into every label we print.
