Best Spirits of Africa makes spirits for brand owners, retailers, event clients and distributors — and a small range of its own. One facility, one accountable team, from liquid concept to shelf-ready spirit.

Who we are

Manufacturing first, marketing second.

BSOA operates from Cape Town as a licensed spirits manufacturer. Most of what leaves our line carries someone else's brand: a first-time gin brand, a retailer's own label, a wedding favour, an importer's private label for their market.

That shapes how we work. We start with the market and the consumer rather than the recipe, we quote against a written specification, and we say clearly which party is responsible for licences, dry goods and compliance before anything is filled.

We also produce our own brands — a cognac-style Cape brandy and a gin-led portfolio — which keeps us honest about quality, cost and what it takes to hold a listing.
