Build your brand

Private label spirits manufacturing in South Africa.

You bring the brand and the market. BSOA brings the liquid, the packaging, the licences and the production line — and helps you get to a compliant, shelf-ready product.

Choose your route

Four routes, one manufacturing partner.

The right route depends on whether you need an existing liquid or a bespoke one, whether this is an ongoing brand or a once-off bottling, and whether you already run a liquor business.

Terminology

Plain definitions, so nothing is assumed.

These terms are used consistently across the site and in every quotation.

Private White Label
You own the brand. BSOA provides an existing or non-exclusive liquid profile that may also be used elsewhere.
Private Proprietary Brand
You own the brand. BSOA develops a specific liquid profile for that brand, subject to the signed commercial and IP agreement.
Private Event Label
A once-off personalised bottling for a defined event, not an ongoing retail brand.
Co-packing
BSOA bottles and packs for an established liquor business; liquid and dry goods may be supplied by you or procured by BSOA.
Licensing support
Practical guidance on compliant routes to market. Not legal advice — exact responsibilities are defined in the contract and verified for each route.

Process

Six steps from brief to bottle.

Every stage has a decision point you control, so cost, quantity and responsibility are agreed before anything is filled.

  1. 01

    Brief

We start with the market, the consumer, the channel and the commercial ambition — not the bottle.

  2. 02

    Concept and liquid

Select an existing liquid profile or develop one for your brand, then evaluate and approve samples.

  3. 03

    Commercial proposal

Agree scope, costs, minimum quantities, payment terms and who is responsible for what.

  4. 04

    Packaging and artwork

Bottle, closure, label and carton selected and proofed, with statutory label requirements checked.

  5. 05

    Production

Filling, labelling, packing and quality checks at our Cape Town facility, in formats from miniatures to 750 ml.

  6. 06

    Route to market

Bonded storage, dispatch, documentation and practical guidance for local sale or export.
